Meet Sierra Woods, a Registered Nurse, International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant, and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Student dedicated to empowering families through compassionate lactation care, postpartum support, and maternal mental health services. As the founder of MelaMama Maternal Wellness Inc., Sierra combines her clinical expertise and passion for advocacy to provide culturally sensitive care, create equitable healthcare access, and host community events that support maternal health and wellness.

Meet Takiesha Smith, a wife, and mom of two amazing adult kids. She's a Certified Doula, Community Health Worker, and Certified Breastfeeding Specialist.

As the Indiana State Ambassador for Count the Kicks, she is all about improving maternal health and pushing for equity. Through her company, Neurospicy Birth, she helps doulas support neurodiverse families, focusing a lot on lactation. Her mission is to ensure every birthing and breastfeeding journey is special and every family gets top-notch support.
